In terms of design, the OnePlus 3 has finally left behind its previous reliance on plastic and other materials, and instead, the phone has a full aluminum body. This means there are visible lines for the antenna at the rear and there is a fingerprint sensor incorporated into the home button, which is now made from ceramic. As for colors, the device affords three options to customers: gold, black and gray.
Coming to the iPhone 6s, it too has an aluminum unibody and curves on its edges which gives it a good look. Much like its competition, it has plastic antenna lines at its rear and the fingerprint sensor is included in the home button in the front. As for colors, the device comes in gray, gold, rose gold and silver.
When it comes to display, the iPhone 6s comes with 3D Touch, which can sense the amount of pressure being applied to the screen by the user's fingertips. However, in terms of size, the iPhone 6s lags as it has an IPS LCD display measuring 4.7 inches, a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch. On the OnePlus 3 is a bigger Super AMOLED display measuring 5.5 inches. It has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch.
The chipset on the OnePlus 3 is not surprisingly the latest and greatest from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 820, and it is coupled with a quad-core CPU and an Adreno 530 GPU. In the meantime, on the iPhone 6s is an Apple A9 chipset coupled with a dual-core CPU and a PowerVR GT7600 GPU.
There is no memory slot on either of these devices and so there is no way external storage can be added. As for RAM, there is 2GB on board the iPhone 6s, while the OnePlus 3 comes with 6GB.
Onboard the iPhone 6s is a 12-megapixel camera that has been rated well, while the OnePlus 3 comes with a 16-megapixel camera with OIS.
The OnePlus 3 has a price tag of $399 unlocked, while the iPhone 6s costs $199 with a two-year contract.
