Canadian and US defense ministers discuss Ukraine's support


Canada and the United States are ready to continue to support Ukraine in every way in protecting its territorial integrity.

The leaders of Canada and the US exchanged views on the future of peacekeeping operations in Ukraine.

This was discussed during the meeting of the Ministers of Defense of Canada and the US Harjit Sajjan and James Mattis. "Minister Sajjan and Secretary Mattis confirmed the continuation of their continued support of the people of Ukraine, as well as the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine," said the spokesman for the Canadian Defense Minister Barn Farlong.

According to him, the meeting also touched upon the issues of peacekeeping in the world.


"Two leaders exchanged views on the future of peacekeeping operations, while Minister Sadzhan stressed that Canada is committed to ensuring that UN peacekeeping remains an effective means of responding to the conflicts of the 21st century," the speaker said.
