Bangladesh now in war against corruption”

Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif on Tuesday said Bangladesh is now in war against corruption under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina'.

"The war against corruption is on for building a happy and prosperous Bangladesh", the minister said this as the chief guest while addressing a fresher and farewell reception of the Law Department students of UITS University at Baridhara in the city this afternoon, BSS reports.

The minister said, "We want to wipe out corruption from the society."

Law Department Chairman of UITS University Monir Hossen was in the chair. The meeting was addressed, among others, by Pro-vice Chancellor of the UITS University Professor Dr Chowdhury M Zakaria and Professor A Manan Bhuiyan.
